Sacred Surrender: Peru 2026 Retreat

Each time my friend and fellow yoga teacher Maddie Young and I host a retreat together, we are blown away by the depth of connection and the number of powerful breakthrough experiences that happen in just a few short days.

I remember seeing a photo of Samadhi Sacred Valley’s yoga shala in my newsfeed back in 2018 (shown in the first photo above) and dreaming about going someday. At that time, practicing at Samadhi felt like a pipe dream that would never actually happen. What a blessing it is to be wrong about what’s possible for you.

Sacred Valley is one of the most spiritually significant places in the world. Once the heart of the Incan Empire and tucked in a valley with the Andes all around, it’s a spot where history, nature, astrology, and culture collide.

Samadhi sits at the heart of it. Owned and operated by a local family, it is known world-wide for its glass-walled shala that opens out to the valley. It is so celebrated that the time window we were lucky enough to snag is its only availability until 2029. The stunning views are just part of what makes Samadhi one of the most renowned retreat centers in the world.
The meals are a big part of the experience too, with much of the food grown on the land or sourced nearby. Between its outdoor jacuzzis, mountain-nestled fire pit, and cozy bungalows, Samadhi is ripe with spaces that implore you to slow down.

This 6-day, 5-night retreat is packed full of incredible cultural experiences, stunning sights and transformative movement, including:
-
a full guided day at Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world;
-
heart-opening and balancing asana classes and workshops designed to provoke physical and emotional surrender and nudge breakthroughs to the surface;
-
a fireside immersive full moon meditation on the full supermoon in Gemini on November 24, the last full moon of autumn;
-
a guided hike in Sacred Valley;
-
Our Fundamentals of Inversions workshop, which will guide you toward unlocking poses like headstand, handstand, and arm balances;
-
Release Your Inhibitions: a playful all-levels dance class led by Maddie designed to get you out of your head and back into your body;
-
a tree planting ceremony where we’ll each plant and name a tree in the valley.
…and more. Think sunset dinners, sound bath, and late night fireside chats. All movement is designed with all levels in mind - including complete beginners who are inexperienced hikers and have never practiced yoga before.

We are currently soft-launching but will share the booking link widely on Tuesday May 12. Spots for past retreats have sold out quickly, and this one is already filling up pre-launch. We recommend checking back on Friday and saving your spot as soon as you know you’d like to come :)
